If you've never been to the Hollywood Forever Cemetery to watch a movie you haven't lived.

Join us and bring a blanket and some vegetarian victuals and/or beverages.

Tickets are $10 at the gate, parking is available. Expect a line to get in. Movie starts at 8 pm, gates open at 6:30 pm. I need a couple people there with me at 6:30 to help us get a good space on the lawn.

We'll start eating the food we brought at 7:20, so if you're there later you may have less space and less food, but you're still quite welcome.

  hmmmmm. watching a comedy at a cemetery?? i don't get it. i looked on their website and it's a funeral home and a cemetery. can anyone explain this to me? i can't go anyway, but i'm just curious!! :)

  Sure, it is a cemetery, and it does have a lot of famous movie and entertainment people there, so I guess they figured what better way to honor them than by showing movies there. There's a big patch of grass, everyone brings a blanket and picnic supplies, and they they project the movie onto the side of a building there. It's great!
