To those attending, make sure you look at the RSVP comments and the event comments to see what others are bringing! Then post what you are bringing. We don't want to relive the Great Taco Fiasco of 2009 when we had four people bring a total of 173 taco shells with no one bringing even a single crumble of fake taco meat; if you'll remember our attempts to make fake meat substitute with what we found in my kitchen sent three people to the hospital.

As usual, no shows will face the vengeance of the VDC (and the $10 fine)!

Wear comfortable shoes! If you're staying to watch the fireworks at 9 pm, we'll have a 15-25 minute walk to and from the beach. Oh, and feel free to love my dog, but please don't feed her! The last few parties I've had turned her into a beggar and I'm trying to turn her back!

July 4 Schedule

6:30 PM - Dinner Begins.
8:25 PM - Walk to beach for Fireworks
9:00 PM - *** Fireworks! ***
9:04 PM - Walk back from beach.
9:30 PM - Optional hanging out.
11:00 PM - Get the hell out.
