Hey Tony! It was actually my idea, no one wanted the group, so i suggested Quinxy kidnap and hold hostage the group in our new location. The other vegetarian group I was a member of on meetups.com shut down, so I'm pleased to see that won't happen to the vegetarian dining club. Plus I'm sure there will be more LA meetups when we come back to visit. I'm sorry if it's annoying to you, Tony.

What a surprise. I moved to LA 2 years a go from Rockville, MD and used to work about a couple of blocks from Yuan Fu (on Washington St.). First I thought there is another restaurant with that same name in LA too and it brought back all the good memories of my years of visiting the place. Check The Vegetable Garden on Rockville Pike (cross the street from White Flint Mall) also, if you have not already. They have the best seaweed salad I've ever had.

Great time and great people! I will definitely look forward to the next event. The restaurant that I mentioned is actually called Cafe Green, not Sweet Green.

outing was a success thanks to charming newcomer Jonathan! And I can highly recommend Yuan Fu if you like mock meats. You'd have to travel a long way to find a greater selection. We dined on fake ducks, fake pigs, fake chickens, fake cows, and much, much more!

I don't understand the logic of changing the location of this group from Los Angeles, CA to Washington, DC when practically all the members of this group are in Southern California! Wouldn't it have made more sense to just start another meetup group in Washington, DC ???
