The VDC's first trans-American outing was a success thanks to charming newcomer Jonathan! And I can highly recommend Yuan Fu if you like mock meats. You'd have to travel a long way to find a greater selection. We dined on fake ducks, fake pigs, fake chickens, fake cows, and much, much more!— Quinxy (Organizer)

I had a lot of fun talking with everyone and doing a lot of eating without a lot of cooking. Great food and desserts - my first veggie shish kabob, BBQ'd corn, coconut strawberry cake, pear bread...and on and on - YUM! No clunkers whatsoever. Had a great time! But, warning for the future: dogs aren't actually allowed on the patio! For shame Veggie Grill! But we tied the dogs up to my bumper a few feet away from our table and it worked out okay.

Great conversation! I loved learning why/how we each made the decision to become vegan or vegetarian. Everyone had such insightful views-it was inspiring to be around like-minded people! Kudos to Quinxy...celebrating more than 20 years as a vegetarian! Loved meeting Carl's and Quinxy's dogs...very happy dogs!— Judy
