'Santa Monica Vegetarian Meetup' is now the 'Vegetarian Dining Club of Los Angeles'

Hi everyone!
Some quick news...
Jim Price, our glorious leader for the last year, our guiding light through nearly 60 vegetarian events, has decided to take a well deserved break and pass the reins to me. He will continue to be involved. Thanks Jim!
As my first order of business I changed our name. We are no longer the Santa Monica Vegetarian Meetup, we are now the Vegetarian Dining Club of Los Angeles.
Why the name change? Partly for fun, but mostly because we've grown in audience, locale, and activities. Only a small portion of our members are from Santa Monica and only a small percentage of the restaurants we go to are in Santa Monica. And while we may not fully embody the totality of the "dining club" concept with guest speakers and exclusivity, we embody the best of its spirit; and perhaps the speakers will come later ;) . If anyone doesn't like the new name, my apologies and a free beverage the next time I see you :)
