To All,

Hope everyone is having a great week leading up to the Thanksgiving Holiday. In response to my recent note, a member of the group, Quincy, has agreed to help take over organizing the group. He and I discussed the best way to do this, and we decided to split the duties: we will continue having meetups each week, and he and I will alternate organizing skills for each week. I will remain as Organizer at this point, and he will be designated as an assistant. This should go smoothly, though I have never split the duties this way, so we will see. This new set-up will begin in December. By the way, it is time for us to ante up for the $72 that meetup charges for each 6 month period: I was willing to pay this amount last time, but anyone willing to help Quincy and me out so we do not have to foot the entire bill will be greatly appreciated.

Secondly, I want to thank everyone who attended the potluck at my place this last weekend. I believe this was definitely one of our best meetups so far: very relaxing being in a home atmosphere, and less ambient noise allowed for much better conversation. Everyone appeared to have a grand time. If anyone would like to host a potluck anytime in the near future, please let me know. Otherwise, I may plan on another one at my place. Pictures of this get together will be posted soon.
